Halloween's here. What's to be said of a one-month nightmare that begins this thursday? Boo you.

Neobu's remarks in my report slip for year 2003, semester 2: She is an outspoken and confident pupil. However, she needs to channel her energy into more meaningful areas such as her studies.

From Mr K's (I miss!) e-mail: I remember things were a little crazy for you at the end of your Sec 4 year. Hope everything has settled down and you are able to concentrate on your studies now.

Dear teachers, I am not glad to inform that I have been a constant in today's ever-changing world. However, I have gotten rid of that one sickening variable/disposable who made things crazy for me back then. Needless to say, he's male. And I predict he will die a horrifying death.

My distraction now is purely infantile.
:D

Dear God, I need you.

Wednesday, October 25, 2006
me : Do me a favour please?
mother: What, go down and get you your bottle of coke?
me : (irritated that the whole world seemed to know about my dependence on the drink) Ya, I won't be able to stay up. Need it.
mother : *pointing towards the kitchen* Go drink Cherryade or something.

crush (for now): How're you?
me: I'm bored (I almost always NEVER say I'm bored, I hoped he would take the hint).
crush: You got your books and coke to cheer you up :).

He inserted a SMILEY (he rarely does)! Sadistic, sarcastic, and bombastic.

THE WORLD IS GETTING MORE CRUEL.

Because a certain lizass (could it be you, Diana Zailan?) couldn't contain herself, and got me into the shikening act, I shall let them pictures speak their (n X 1000) words. Talk about peer pressure. :3

There was the zoo trip with Hakim and his friends (two of whom turned out to be *shrieks* PAD AND SHIREEN)

We got lucky.

Z is for Zorro, Z is for being sleepy, man(dai)!
Done, friends of the zoo (abovementioned) have the rest of the photos. Hah.

MY OWN raya celebration playing sparklers with Hidz, Ken, and Hakim (because I won't be doing it like everyone else come Tuesday). Somuchfun! Cambridge reduced me to such a state.

Happy, lovely duo!:)

A delightful dedication from the mister to his *ahem* jellyjun woman.

Now, in conjunction with Miss Shikin-Universe, 2 S-ters from the block have come up with a tribute to the (actually) inimitable two.
Learn, and you'll be a "xrisenstarx" in no time.

Shikaboom: "forever and ever and ever and ever babe!"
YANdao: "I'm not too sure, honey"

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Cherryberry, otherwise known as CB: "Do I turn you on like that?"

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
"You think?!"

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
S-clubber: "So tell me what you want what you really really want?"
A1 (the grade, not the boyband!): "ZIGAZIG AHH!"

And one more time.

"DfallenstarsD, come to me. I'm hungry."

Shake it like shikin baby.

It got really freaky cos don't you see someone mildly resembling the mocked here?

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Almost there.

YOU GOT IT, DI/shikaZ! Props to you!

OMGAH! For real! We're your reflection (SINGULAR), Yanshik!

YOU BETTER NOT LEAVE ME IF I MAKE YOU CRY. XXX, Moon.

We tried to revert back to normality, but the thought of attitudelady made that impossible. Here's raising to you, babe.

look into my eyes. you will see what you mean to me (:

*wipes sweat off sniff-worthy hair* PHEW. Impersonating's hard work. I mean, how DO they do that, for every single damn photo, no less? We busted our life savings on insurance policies prior to the very risky job. The threats were real: facial paralysis, permanent trauma, hysteria (laughter CAN damage)...

I was sinking into the couch when Nick Lachey's What's Left Of Me wafted from the speakers right next to me. I attempted to tell Di about the soothing effect his voice has on my nerves, to which I was cut off velli the loodly.
Di: "I know, you always tell us to visit his fansite what!"
Me: "Ah?"
Di: (confidently) "nicksplat.com, right?"
!!! There is a difference between my fave games site and where I go to drool, okay.
So THIS, is for hurting me deeply with your ignorance, D Loozard.

Go pester her (at her secret blog) for the real deal. Be armed with eye-mo.

CHAMPIONS, we are.

Today should have been boring and uneventful. However, it couldn't have been because Sandice and I turned 18. We have been sharing a second birthday since 365 days ago. Sloth got all of me on the 2nd so I must say right now, that birthdays get more meaningful by the year.

On my first 18th birthday, I felt especially appreciated.

To that one person who ran to the phone a little before the clock struck twelve just so I could hang on the line till October 2nd,
to those who sent the flurry of 0000hours wishes,
to the pinky best friend who went all the way to make me tear,
to them OCIPers who granted me the closest (and coolest) thing to a pair of wings,
to the boy best friend who put in "the most effort" according to yh,
to the assmoley girl best friend for the beautiful flowers,
to the flame of the past who forgot to remind her about my favourite ones(HAHAH), stayed true to his words,
to them cheeky monkeys who necessitated the clearing of my inbox every few hours, for the DAMN motivational and (probably misdirected) wishes. Like "Happy birthday Yati, thought I forgot right. You're legal now. I pose you a challenge, stay off the booze and clubs till the end of the year man."
"Yatay potty raisins, happy ageing day!"
Guess who, and who.
To my family for actually bothering to celebrate when I got home so late,
to all of the above and the unmentioned (because you know who you are), for all of the gifts and lotsa lovin' that were simply heartwarming,
AND WHO CAN FORGET them holidaying homies (yoohoo!) who flew back for me(partly what!), for the crazy suprise get-together.
A gazillion thank yous wouldn't suffice. But thank you all.

Just when I thought it was gonna be back to doom, belated birthday was made happier. I got serenaded by my fellow t-coos and the one who is SO gonna grace my wedding with her music...

The fantastic pianist who bowled me over with her specially-created birthday song, and the accomplice who added her special effects. =) Simply ♥.

What goes up, must come down. My joy ride did. Special thanks to the results. Hold your breath for grades, and die:

Today, we graduated. I didn't wanna open the floodgate of memories. But there I was, half-listening to the speeches, half-realising that things were just not going to be the same anymore. To be sure, today was just not cut out for goodbyes. Meet-ups and reunions are bound to happen. But there won't BE another thrill of beating the bell every morning, of scrutinising every move of the cool gang members (to mock) as pastime with the other two non-Liter Dah and Kf. Days of happy smiles, hellos, byes and impromptu supertight hugs are almost impossible to relive. The daily curses at blink-eye, the customary and liberating gossip/bitching sessions. I won't have a certain chigga startling me and screaming raps into my ear every so often, a PB Chan to simply gang up against with Bollywood queen, a Karefairy to pull me back to reality when I drift away, the class boys to provide entertainment with their friggin hilarious jokes. I won't be able to laugh just by observing the antics of Normal and Abnormal gangs. No marathon lovelies of mine to huddle with and bitch like crazy about what happened 1.5 seconds ago. No post-training nautical nonsense with Sand,Hot-girl-lava QY (no one told me I was gonna befriend you hahaha!),and sitayyy, bubble tea/econ trips, and Gs (!!!). No more flatfoot to pon whole school days with in search of adventures. Most importantly, no valid excuse to make *HB stay behind to revise with me. HAHAH. That's part joke.

Yeah I'll miss the crazy noisy class, touch girls (some other girls as teammates just won't do (:), the mlcs exco (oh how we fit), OCIPers (especially best friend and honey han), and everyone else.

Two of my best schooling years were actually spent here.

While waiting for my turn during the CCA awards ceremony (in liking memory):

HB and I (secretly)! YES. Even at the end I was too shy to ask him for a picture together. And too bad I lost my stalker skills so the photo doesn't look like I know him at all. =(

I henceforth lay to rest the crush I have nursed since whenever. Because boys are only harmless when they'ree babies or crushes. Of course he'll never know because then I won't have the privilege of mocking the girls who fall at his stinky feet with him. Then I won't have a worthy opponent to swap jibes with, and I can't come up with 8457839750298 insults when he goes "admit it, you like me", which he does all the time. It was fun pretending to know how to do math equations he couldn't solve just so he'd prolong the study sessions; always made me wanna try ten times harder. I sprained my calf today (highest degree of pain I have ever felt, honest) and he offered to carry me. I nearly died. But I stayed alive to show him just how macho I could be. And I know that our friendship would be wackier, funnier, and wayyy more unique if we were the way we were. AND. I hope through all that, you can see that I do not mean a word I just said. I just don't know how to say I'll miss you when you get hauled off for national service.

I'm digging my own grave, but I can assure that no more calls/texts will be left unnoticed come tomorrow when I receive my first ever W flipster. Life's becoming none. Di's like the only person who provides me with an outlet to vent my shikining thoughts. The rest are too busy shooing me to go study. :3

Goin' crazy. Bye.

Interesting things happen to me everyday. Every single day I blog in my head. Then I get home too late to even lift a finger. That explains my not replying the many many messages and the lack of return calls. I'm busy trying not to have fun. On three, we listen to Liyanah okay? "At this time, you're not supposed to be having a life.."
That was 3 weeks ago.

Make your words soft and tender because you might have to eat them back one day, they say. I regret annoying Di with my daily countdown because now when I'm most distracted (boys are stupid)...
Me: Should I say yes?
Di: 24 days! YEY!(=

That's it. No life starts NOW.

If Aladdin had sung "tell me princess now when did you last let your mind decide?" instead of what he did, I would have taken him more seriously. Indecision: my forte. Losing my senses: routine.

A pleasant surprise awaited me this morning. It involved a chance at something I'm really passionate about. It also required a small sacrifice: yet another passion. I still can't make up my mind. The dad's giving the go-ahead, mother has her misgivings. Do we not see a pattern? I'm not about to put up a fight to make her relent. It's just time to grow up. God? Help?

Hanging out with my flatfoot Ella and Arie today jolted me. I realised I had been spending a great deal of time with my good friends and their other halves. I'm glad I never had to go through the I-lost-my-friend-to-a-guy phase because I've been comfortable with the upsurge in hook-ups. Strangely. I hope things remain this way so that I don't have to hear another heart break.

Oh oh! I met someone today who continually referred to his wife as 'my wife' in her presence. I was impressed. Dear future husband, be prepared to affectionately term me 'THE one'. I insist.
