The new job has been everything (half before)nine-to-fve is hyped-up to be. Pays well, but how much adventure can one have in a cubicle, right? Sure, it's not as fun as the previous one in transit. I don't get to talk for hours with the ladies in green blazers at the counter, get Starbucks treats from the store behind, fake any accent, and joke with people from all over the world! Here, I learn something new everyday. Suddenly the things I read about Japanese working environment make sense. I grow balls because I don't get excused for being technologically-dumb, domestically-challenged, and unbelievably lacking in manners. I wired up conference equipment, made green tea (it's culture yo), laugh much less crazily. Achieved something I thought I'd never in my entire lifetime too. Punctuality. Much less glitz than the internship at Convention Centre, but am loving it all the same for I get to wear my favourite dresses to work and dictate what goes into the fridge. Couldn't be more grateful for yesterday. Dollfin gave me all the hugs and love I needed. No will can break when it faces her. He is the luckiest man alive right now. We took lots of photos with our imagination, came up with the best pick-up lines and jumped into a water feature because it was asking for it. I live for days like this.=)
Am digging this unplanned school break. Training doesn't even dominate my life anymore. Need to make the best and most awesome out of the remaining month before I start doing something unlikely, like the write-up I submitted for GYS two hours before deadline when the e-mail was circulated months ago. So, Nani and I got our places in the Symposium!!! Accommodation won't be necessary. Don’t know how I’m gonna explain to them that I actually wouldn't die for the environment (unless it kills me first) and am all for capitalism, but I'll worry when we get there. Besides, I’m ready to stand corrected (also: shop, damage things, eat, express fabulous ideas with Nani). KL won't know what hit it, unless the things we did in our younger years get revealed. Like
You know it's the bomb diggy diggy when we get jiggy
let me piggy back ride on it all night long,
while i'm singin' my song,
all thru the hoody hoody wanna get that goody goody
You know it's the bomb diggy diggy bomb bomb diggy
Can I get some of your bomb diggy jelly jelly goody chocolate puddy,
wanna get a little bit of your goody ,goody ....goody, goody
Not what you think. The Bomb Diggy is among us. Rolling.
Lunchtime now! Imma take my place by the window sill and daydream to the breathtaking seaview.
Nie in leben nicht so. says: lunch also eat shit

School hasn't had much luck in driving me crazy. I'm counting on being on-the-go to keep me sane, cos there was no way I could've lived through the past week's essays, experiments, and presentation (oh, half a heartbreak too) if I didn't do what I had to do.
Greek Masterpieces from The Louvre. To cure my cultural apathy.

Alex. Not Karev, though.

Got it.

A mummy's love.

When I entered college, I vowed to stay away from guy problems which plagued me for most of my teenage years. Last semester, these two killed my will, as well as my CAP score.

How to distract artists at the back (Khan, are those your coursemates?).

Src should motivate the teams with stuff like this stead of more photos man.

Word.

You say 'I want to win at Olympics'.

Greek grave robber.

The only masterpiece not from Louvre.

Concierge wannabe.

Vraiment.
On the day I had to kamikaze around school, starting from ungodly 6AM.

Check out the (lack of) sun.

Pre-sunrise breakfast? His idea. Too bad there wasn't space for a noun between 'greatest' and 'of'.

Victims.

The shutters. Not even the mall was open!

Chowed and talked through sunrise, forgot about the time, were both late for school, so

the idle had to do something.

(L-R) My bffn, my bff.
Parted ways to lead our extremely different lives before converging again in the evening for The Leap Years. The older Jeremy looks very much like my late grandpaps when he was sickly. I hope to meet him again someday.
Soren and I were meant for each other. In today's episode I learn we have
Will do! Am still going, of course, simply cos I know who'll be in the finals :P
Spent 3 fun hours with Zu and Rini over dinner to catch up- still the same aunties I dig!:) We should round up the former exco team, we really should.
We spent a good part of our conversation talking about you, Candice. I really miss you!

When things go hard, your spirit pulls me through. It really does. I love you royal! One day all the dreams we talked about will materialise, and we'll finally bury our bottles!:)

Baby girl, close your eyes.
You don't know the strength you have inside
If I could I'd shelter you from all the pain that we all must go through
But it's up to you.

Hopes can fail and dreams can fade
Rain can fall down on your big parade
Maybe love will take your heart or break your heart
There are no guarantees
But love will always find you when you just believe

Sometimes the hardest thing and the right thing are the same.
So few come and don't go
Will you, won't you, be the one I'll always know?

Tutorials have begun; which could only suggest one thing: no skipping. The first one yesterday at ten unforgiving AM, I almost gave up searching for the classroom after climbing 6 flights of stairs and ended up on the roof. Tutor was hilarious, absolutely adore her.Tutor: What is Bali?
Me: A beach!
Tutor: What are you majoring in?
Me: *whispers*
Tutor: *sighs in relief*
And then there was deutsch, I sat between a boy who knew possibly every classical piece ever composed and a really pretty girl. Concentration hit an all-time low.
Last week, I went fishing.

I was ready to make my daddy the hooked proud; all those years he spent dragging us to the beach and ticking off fish species only to have me crawling back to the tent to snore.

Fishing rods mistaken for tripods.

Extremely good observational learning.

Five seconds after learning the whole sink-bait-in-water deal, I got the hooks firmly stuck to the bottom of the sea (spent the first 2 seconds thinking I caught a big one). I struggled and struggled before SNAP went the line.

The shirt says it all.
We wanted to see whose sunset shot was better.

Let’s just credit that superior, humongous camera of his.

And so we waited, and waited, and waited. Total anti-climax for the kids who were obviously expecting some gig.

We did wrap up the night with some fish (in our stomachs).
Danke, for all the lessons you’ve taught me. About being quieter, I’ll work on it.
Date with the ex-teammates. Gossiped over dinner at V8 and laughed until we had to pee to the chafe of the other diners. Peace, yo, happiness knows no boundaries. Right, Jane? Trooped over to some cool shops along some street and I found a hugeass trionyx turtle in one (as pet, not for sale, unfortunately). My maternal instincts started to fire up, as they do each time I see species other than Stamp’s. Dennis works there, coincidentally- I hope he (and Tri’s boyfriend) is open to bribery.

Please make Saturday games happen, people like Glyn need updates on current affairs of the world. =)
Touring the new terminal with Pizzang.

His playlist changes more frequently than any radio station's.
OMG some powerful quote just escaped me cos Loke gave me a call asking if I was in my room. Loke!!

Zul and I went on GX-5 (which trumps G-Max on all counts). The best damn thing that happened on Saturday apart from the end of season (2nd runner-up).Being slung across clarke quay, that's what it's all about.
Ken's Thursday-conceived (count: 3 days) plan materialised yesterday: chalet for our small close-knit community, hoho! Having a blast was foregone conclusion.

How do I not smile with these two around?=)
The boys refused my half-hearted offer to help with the food so before they could change their minds...

Jump shots are better on beds. They propel you...higher (of course, gravity still applies to heavyweights):

Why sleep

The scarf is Ken's. He's like Chuck minus the sleaze.

Hullo sexayy. Want some jelly?
I deserve to be on the bed with these gorgeous girls because I'm not a jerk.

Gossip girls.
Look a lil closer at what the boys did for us. I call this redemption. :P

Our initials!Awww.
I don't know what O stands for, but I think I'd rather not know why both theirs looked like this:

:)
Our dear Carla had to leave and
Shaz and supershy boyfriend arrived shortly afterwards. We played the Here & Now edition of Monopoly; so cool we wanted to swipe our ATM cards on that device.
Too distracted to watch P.S. I love you properly, the boys made us find charcoal which we did with a cat's help, and barbequed steak. The rest of the night was very eventful.
P.P.S. I love each of you!
